PROJECTS

5C can provide teams of experienced supply chain professionals to deliver your projects. Our primary objective is to work with our clients to understand their needs, appetite for risk and value expectations. We then formulate a plan and design strategies and deals to support the needs of the project.

We can take on the complete Supply Chain role; Contracts, Purchasing and the like, or single aspects such as Contracts only or single activities, e.g. up to award only. This service is available for all phases of project development from initiation to close out. Click here for more information.

5C can utilize its own facilities, processes, templates & systems or work with our clients' own materials & systems.

BENEFITS

Projects by their nature are one offs, requiring resources from months to a number of years. 5C can mix and match “in place” and “remote” resources to suit the project or accommodate project and client changing needs.

5C’s project focus enables clients' own supply chain resources to focus on their core business requirements.

No fixed overheads. G&A impacts such as headcount, office space, IT, salaries and burdens, benefits, training and recruiting are no longer a draw on our client's resources.

STAFFING SOLUTIONS

5C resources will either be resident in a client's or separate facility, which does include working from their residence anywhere in the world. Our flexibility affords 5C the ability to resource from the global professional market place. This approach additionally supports clients who require a flexible resource capable of responding to their rapidly changing needs.

COMPENSATION

5C is flexible in terms of compensation models. We have a variety of different models that can be used, together with hybrid approaches, for example projects by their nature tend to be conducted in phases. We can start on a traditional hourly basis and convert to lump sum as the scope becomes defined.

We are  open to consider other approaches that may suit a clients’ needs.

Some examples of commercial approaches we use are:

  • Lump sum

  • Per package or initiative available on a fixed price basis

  • Hourly option to use 5C approach: Real-Time

  • Profit share

  • Target cost
